Most Australians will interact with Centrelink at some time in their life. Accessing the appropriate services can be a challenge. I draw on my own experiences to provide information that may help those applying for the Disability Support Pension.

SLES Students
This presentation is for participants in the School Leavers Employment Supports (SLES) program. I talk about different types of disability, my own journey, how I faced challenges and wins in the workplace and changes in my career from my intial ambitions to work for an airline to being self-employed.
School Students
The focus of this presentation is on attitudes towards and perceptions about persons with disabilities. The approach is more interractive than other presentations and students are encouraged to participate and discuss the information I am presenting. Content is adapted to the age group and approved by the teacher prior to presentation delivery.
