Finding and Keeping a Job
I am a certified independent NDIS Support Worker and unregistered NDIS Provider. I follow the rules set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. These rules include the Code of Conduct for Providers. I am authorised to work anywhere in Australia as an NDIS Support Worker. I have an AFP National Police Check and current NSW Working With Children Check.
As a person with lived experience of disability, I have gained expertise in navigating the workplace, from establishing online profiles and job searches, deciding whether or not to share information relating to my disability and, if so, how much information I am willing to share in order to gain access to workplace adjustments/accommodations.
I provide a person centred service to NDIS Participants who are either self managed or engage the services of a plan manager.
